Bird, who debuted in the NBA during the 1979–80 season, concluded his illustrious career with 649 three-pointers, attempted 1,727 times, boasting a success rate of 37.6%. Notably, Bird led the league in three-pointers made twice, recording 82 in the 1985–86 season and 90 in the 1986–87 season.
