Newcastle in SHOCKING £100M+ Scramble for ‘The New Toni Kroos’ – This Tonali Replacement Will Absolutely TRANSFORM the Toon FOREVER! (You won’t believe who they’re targeting…

Newcastle United are expected to strengthen their squad further before the start of the new season, with reports suggesting the club are targeting at least three additional signings during the remainder of the summer transfer window.

One of the Magpies’ priorities is bringing in a new midfielder following Sandro Tonali’s £100 million transfer to Tottenham Hotspur.

Newcastle had been confident of signing Freiburg youngster Johan Manzambi, but Aston Villa moved quickly to secure the Swiss midfielder instead, leaving Eddie Howe’s side searching for alternative options.

It has been another challenging transfer window for Newcastle, with several of their leading targets opting to join rival Premier League clubs.

Despite those setbacks, the club’s recruitment team continue to assess potential additions, and one player attracting serious interest has earned widespread praise for his performances in Germany.

According to The Athletic’s Laurie Whitwell, Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller has emerged as a key target for Newcastle.

The 25-year-old has established himself as one of the Bundesliga club’s standout performers and is regarded as one of Germany’s most accomplished deep-lying midfielders.

Stiller’s composure on the ball and ability to dictate play have led to comparisons with Real Madrid icon Toni Kroos.

Those similarities sparked speculation linking him with a move to the Spanish giants, although a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu now appears unlikely.

Instead, Newcastle could offer him the opportunity to test himself in the Premier League.

The German international still has two years remaining on his contract at Stuttgart, meaning any potential transfer is likely to require a significant fee.

Newcastle’s spending power has been boosted by the sales of Tonali and Anthony Gordon, but the club must also operate within UEFA’s financial compliance rules, making any deal dependent on Stuttgart’s valuation.

Stiller is viewed as a player who could seamlessly replace Tonali thanks to his ability to control possession, protect the defence and launch attacks from deep.

However, Newcastle are not limiting their search to one player.

The club have also discussed Botafogo midfielder Danilo, while Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Larsson and Auxerre’s Kevin Danois remain under consideration.

Meanwhile, uncertainty continues to surround Bruno Guimaraes, who has been heavily linked with Arsenal.

Reports suggest the Newcastle captain is becoming frustrated with the situation at St James’ Park, and should the Brazilian depart this summer, Howe is expected to push for the arrival of two new midfielders to strengthen his squad.
