Alongside his numerous sponsorship deals, partnerships, and business ventures, Sparta Promotions saw a notable increase in equity, with its value reaching £129m, as reported by Daily Mail. This marked a substantial rise of nearly £30m compared to the previous year, with Joshua, the former heavyweight champion, also paying approximately £7m in taxes for the year.
Throughout 2023, the 34-year-old boxer competed in three matches, securing victories against Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, and Otto Wallin, rebounding from consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk in 2021 and 2022. According to Forbes, Joshua commands a vast following of 16.9m on Instagram and ranks as one of the world’s most recognizable athletes, placing 28th among the highest-paid athletes in 2023.
With an estimated net worth of around £41m, Joshua continued to enhance his substantial fortune in 2024, earning an additional £39m from his bout against Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.
