“SHOCKER: Everton Set to Steal David Moyes’ SECRET WEAPON in MASSIVE Signing Coup – Deal DONE in Hours!”

Everton Eager to Finalise New Signings Ahead of U.S. Pre-Season Tour

Everton’s summer transfer window has proven to be a frustrating one, particularly for manager David Moyes, who is reportedly growing increasingly impatient.

The 62-year-old has seen a number of players leave the club as free agents, yet reinforcements have been slow to arrive.

One area Everton are focused on strengthening is midfield—especially following Idrissa Gana Gueye’s contract extension.

Several names have been linked with a move to Goodison Park, but one in particular has emerged as a consistent target: Douglas Luiz.

The Brazilian midfielder appears to be gaining traction as a potential signing, with new developments pointing towards possible progress.

Luiz’s representatives have reportedly arrived in England and are set to hold discussions with various Premier League clubs, including Everton. While competition for his signature is expected to be fierce, Everton may hold a slight edge.

According to Italian journalist Gianni Balzarini, the Toffees are in a strong position to land the former Aston Villa man.

“Douglas Luiz’s agent is in England, touring English clubs—not sightseeing but negotiating,” Balzarini explained on his YouTube channel.

“Everton, however, seem to have an advantage over other teams. There’s a growing sense that the deal could be wrapped up soon.”

Adding fuel to the fire, Luiz did not report to Juventus training on Thursday and is now expected to face internal disciplinary action. This has only intensified speculation about his desire to leave Serie A.

Reports have already suggested that Luiz is eager to return to the Premier League, and his recent no-show could be interpreted as a push to facilitate a move.

His time at Juventus has not been particularly impactful, and given the increasing interest in his services, the Italian giants may be open to selling—provided they receive a suitable offer.

Everton will need to act swiftly, especially as they’ve already missed out on a number of targets to domestic rivals this window.

Securing Luiz would be a significant coup for Moyes and a boost to a squad in need of quality additions.

With pressure mounting ahead of the new campaign, Everton fans will be hoping that this deal can be concluded soon to inject some much-needed optimism into their summer business.
