Reguilon, who made 73 appearances for Spurs during his five-year spell at the club, is a free agent and has reportedly received several offers since leaving North London.

Romano adds that the player is leaning towards accepting the Inter Miami proposal, seeing it as the best opportunity available to him.

There had been speculation that Reguilon might stay in England, with journalist Pete O’Rourke previously reporting that a few Premier League clubs were considering him as a free signing.

O’Rourke suggested that sides in need of defensive reinforcements were monitoring the experienced left-back, given his pedigree and availability without a transfer fee.

However, it now appears that Reguilon is ready to take on a new challenge in Major League Soccer.

After struggling for consistent game time in recent seasons, a move to Inter Miami could provide him with the chance to rebuild his confidence and enjoy regular football once again — an appealing prospect for a player seeking a fresh start after a difficult spell in the Premier League.
