“SHOCKING SCANDAL UNVEILED: Leicester City’s OBSESSION with Ex-Leeds United Star Will Leave You SPEECHLESS!”

EFL pundit Don Goodman urges Leicester City to focus on strengthening other positions instead of pursuing Rennes midfielder Glen Kamara.

French outlet Foot Mercato reports that it is “inevitable” Finland international Glen Kamara will leave Rennes in the January transfer window.

The midfielder, signed for £8.7 million after a strong season with Leeds United in the Championship, has attracted interest from Leicester City, Ipswich Town, and Nice.

Both Championship sides see him as a potential boost to their promotion hopes, though competition from the Ligue 1 outfit could complicate matters.

However, former footballer and pundit Don Goodman believes Leicester should not prioritise Kamara’s signing.

Speaking to Football League World, Goodman expressed surprise at the Foxes’ reported interest, suggesting they already possess ample midfield depth with Jordan James, Harry Winks, Oliver Skipp, and Boubakary Soumare. Instead, he urged the club to strengthen their defence and attack.

With Jamie Vardy leaving in the summer, Leicester have struggled for goals, relying heavily on Jordan Ayew, who has led the line for most of the season.

Goodman argued that adding another midfielder would not address the team’s biggest weakness — a lack of a consistent goal scorer.

Kamara impressed during his year at Leeds but has since endured difficult spells at Rennes and on loan at Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia.

While his return to England could reignite his form, Goodman insists Leicester should not sacrifice key upgrades elsewhere to pursue him.

If Harry Souttar recovers well from injury, Leicester’s defence may stabilize, but their attack still lacks potency beyond Abdul Fatawu.

To sustain a promotion push, Goodman believes the club must focus on signing a striker capable of scoring regularly — not another midfielder who managed just five shots across an entire Championship season.
