Everton Linked With Move for Striker Jeremy Arevalo
David Moyes is expected to play an active role in the January transfer market as he looks to build on Everton’s encouraging position in the Premier League at the halfway point of the campaign.
With the Toffees well placed in the table, Moyes is keen to strengthen key areas and ensure momentum is not lost during the second half of the season.
One name repeatedly linked with Everton is Ivan Toney, a forward the club are reportedly keen on signing this month as Moyes looks to add proven quality and reliability to his attacking options.

According to German outlet Bild, Stuttgart beat competition from several clubs, including Strasbourg, Eintracht Frankfurt, Lazio, Roma and Everton, to secure the Ecuador international’s signature.
The report suggests that while many of the interested sides favoured a loan arrangement, Stuttgart’s willingness to complete a permanent deal proved decisive in winning the race for the 20-year-old.
Given Beto’s struggles and the lack of depth in central attacking areas, Moyes should be targeting an experienced and reliable striker capable of leading the line effectively.
Securing a proven goalscorer must come first before Everton consider investing in younger or developmental talents.
Arevalo, who scored eight goals in 18 La Liga 2 matches this season and nine in 40 appearances overall for Racing, also offers versatility as an attacking midfielder.
However, Everton’s immediate priority should be ensuring they have a consistent source of goals, something the current squad has yet to fully provide.
