Steve Cooper Urges Leicester City to Replace Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall left for Chelsea earlier in the window for £30 million, after scoring 12 goals and assisting 14 in 44 Championship games, making his departure a significant loss for the Foxes.
Cooper has emphasized the need to replace Dewsbury-Hall, hinting at a clear transfer plan. According to Leicester Live, Cooper stated:
“(Dewsbury-Hall) obviously had a really good season last year, and the more I watched games from last year, the more I understood how well he did. He’s gone, good luck to him. We’ve got to look forward now. We’ve certainly got to replace him and some other positions, which we’re actively trying to do.
“There’s lots of stuff going on that I don’t think has managed to reach you guys (in the media). The club are working really hard and we’re really joined up in what we want to do. There’s a clear plan. Hopefully, we can get a few players over the line, and the quicker, the better.”
Who Will Leicester City Replace Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall With?
Dewsbury-Hall was crucial to Leicester’s promotion success last season, and finding an adequate replacement will be challenging. One player linked with Leicester as a potential replacement is Arthur Melo. Leicester’s pursuit of Arthur was boosted this week when Premier League rival Everton distanced themselves from a transfer.
The Brazilian had a difficult stint in the English top flight with Liverpool, making just one appearance. However, he refound his form while on loan at Fiorentina in 2023/24, playing 48 times and helping the Italian club reach the Europa Conference League final.
