Supercomputer Reveals West Ham’s Predicted Final Position Ahead of Tottenham Showdown

According to the Opta Analyst supercomputer, West Ham is now predicted to finish twelfth in the Premier League, the same position they currently hold.

Lopetegui needs to improve results at West Ham.

Despite the poor start to his tenure in East London, a midtable finish, safely away from relegation danger, wouldn’t be the worst outcome for the club.

However, expectations were higher this season.

After spending £150 million on new players during the summer transfer window, a push for European qualification was anticipated.

Unfortunately, the new signings have struggled to adapt to the team’s style of play.

The victory over Ipswich felt like a potential turning point for Lopetegui, as he secured his first win at the London Stadium following three straight losses.

Key attackers Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta, and Mohammed Kudus all found the back of the net.

With a 13.2% chance of finishing twelfth, the team is performing as expected this season. Fans can at least take comfort in the fact that West Ham has just a 1.6% chance of being relegated.

When David Moyes was let go at the end of last season, supporters called for more ambition from the club. So far, Lopetegui’s appointment has yet to fully deliver on that demand.
