49ERS DROP A BOMB: Leeds United on the Verge of Signing the BEST Striker Since Viduka in a MASSIVE £40M Deal That Will Change EVERYTHING! 😱** Fans are losing their minds! This could be the signing that finally ends the pain… Don’t miss it!

Leeds United should look to strengthen their attack this summer despite Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s impressive first season at Elland Road, with Monaco striker Folarin Balogun emerging as an ideal target.
When Calvert-Lewin arrived from Everton last summer, expectations were modest. His injury record raised concerns, and many believed Everton were content to let him leave.
However, the move has turned out to be a huge success.
The England international rediscovered his best form under Daniel Farke, scoring 14 Premier League goals and playing a key role in Leeds’ survival.

His performances also earned him a return to the England squad, proving that a fresh environment can revive a player’s career.
Despite that success, Leeds cannot afford to stand still. The club has experienced a similar situation before with Patrick Bamford.
After scoring 17 Premier League goals during Leeds’ first season back in the top flight, Bamford struggled with injuries and form, managing only eight league goals across the following two campaigns.

Leeds failed to provide enough competition or quality support in attack, with signings such as Rodrigo, Jean-Kevin Augustin and Georginio Rutter failing to deliver consistently.
That lack of depth ultimately contributed to the club’s relegation.
Determined to avoid repeating those mistakes, Leeds are expected to enter the transfer market for another striker.
Farke often preferred a two-man attack during the second half of last season, with Calvert-Lewin partnering Lukas Nmecha or Noah Okafor.

While both players made useful contributions, neither has established himself as a prolific goalscorer capable of leading the line over an entire campaign.
Monaco forward Folarin Balogun has emerged as a leading candidate.
According to TEAMtalk, Leeds face competition from Nottingham Forest, Sunderland and Everton for the American international, who could cost around £40 million.
Balogun enjoyed an outstanding 2025/26 campaign, scoring 19 goals in all competitions after previously netting 22 times on loan at Reims before joining Monaco from Arsenal.

Although his early years in France were inconsistent, he has developed into one of Europe’s most exciting young forwards.
His performances at the World Cup further enhanced his reputation, as he scored three goals in five matches and showcased his pace, movement, technical quality and clinical finishing.
Those attributes suggest he has the tools to thrive in the Premier League after failing to break into Arsenal’s first team.
Balogun offers a different profile to Calvert-Lewin. While the Leeds striker excels with his physical presence, aerial ability and hold-up play, Balogun’s speed and intelligent runs behind defences would add another dimension to Farke’s attack.
Rather than replacing Calvert-Lewin, the pair could complement each other perfectly.
If Leeds are serious about establishing themselves as a stable Premier League club, investing in another top-class striker like Balogun could prove a vital step forward.
