When asked if he had heard from The Friedkin Group about transfer plans, Dyche responded, “It’s fair to say there weren’t many quotes in there.
I try to stick to the facts, and I certainly haven’t heard anything from the owners at all, especially not regarding transfer budgets.
Since there were no quotes, I would consider that a mythical story, like many out there. Until it becomes a fact, I focus on the reality.
At this stage, I have no other information.”
Looking ahead to the January transfer window, several signings could significantly benefit Everton.
The most pressing need is a striker, particularly with Dominic Calvert-Lewin potentially leaving for Newcastle at a reduced price.
