Shocking Ibrox Gold Rush: Rangers’ hidden gem is now worth a FORTUNE more than Sunderland’s Dan Neil – you won’t BELIEVE his value!

Rangers’ summer recruitment drive must not stop with the signing of Lawrence Shankland, as Danny Rohl looks to build a squad capable of challenging for major honours next season.
The Light Blues ended the previous campaign 10 points behind Celtic and struggled badly after the league split, losing four of their final five matches.
Those results highlighted the need for significant improvements across the squad ahead of the new season.
One player strongly linked with a move to Ibrox is Sunderland midfielder Dan Neil.

Reports suggest Rangers are in discussions to sign the 24-year-old on a free transfer, with his contract at the Stadium of Light set to expire this month.
Neil could prove to be an excellent addition to Rohl’s midfield. While some supporters may compare him to Joe Rothwell, who arrived from Bournemouth last summer, the Sunderland man offers a different profile.

Rothwell struggled to cope with the physical demands of Scottish football and left the club in January, whereas Neil is known for his energy, mobility and ability to compete aggressively in midfield.
His Championship performances this season demonstrated his strength out of possession, regularly winning duels, making tackles and covering large areas of the pitch.
As a free-agent signing with a reported market value of £3.9 million, Neil would represent a low-risk investment with the potential to increase his value significantly in the years ahead.

Nicolas Raskin’s development at Rangers provides the perfect blueprint. The Belgian midfielder joined from Standard Liège in January 2023 for just £1.5 million and has since become one of the club’s most valuable assets.
Across 145 appearances, Raskin has contributed 13 goals and 23 assists while helping Rangers lift the League Cup during the 2023/24 season.
His market value has risen dramatically to around £10.3 million, highlighting both his progress and Rangers’ success in developing talent.

Although valuations do not determine transfer fees, Raskin’s rise demonstrates how players can flourish at Ibrox with patience and consistent performances.
With growing interest in Raskin from other clubs, Neil could eventually become his successor.
If he follows a similar path, Rangers may once again secure a bargain signing capable of becoming a key player and a valuable asset.
