TBR journalist has revealed that Rangers striker Hamza Igamane is a player of genuine interest to Everton, who have already conducted background work on him.

While it remains uncertain if Everton will make a formal move for the 22-year-old, his situation remains one to watch as the transfer deadline approaches on 3 February.

Speaking to Everton News (27 January), journalist Bailey stated:

“Igamane is a player of real interest to a number of Premier League clubs as the window closes.

Everton still like him; they’ve done their homework on him. It remains to be seen if they make a push.

Tottenham have also entered the race, and several clubs are now monitoring him closely. He’s definitely one to watch in the final days of the window.”

Rangers Cannot Afford to Lose Igamane

Igamane has been a standout performer at Ibrox since earning a place in the starting XI this season.

Manager Philippe Clement was initially cautious about introducing the Moroccan striker to regular first-team action, but Igamane has since proven himself with consistent goal-scoring displays.

The 22-year-old has cemented his place as the team’s main striker, surpassing Cyriel Dessers in the pecking order.

While Rangers are unlikely to secure the league title, they still have opportunities in the Europa League and Scottish Cup.
