I’m focused on football and what happens on the pitch. I’m happy to be out there with the team, fighting for points and contributing. There’s still a lot of unfinished business for me at Rangers.”
Rangers Target Nottingham Forest’s Emmanuel Dennis
While Dessers continues to find the back of the net, Rangers are reportedly interested in signing Nottingham Forest forward Emmanuel Dennis.
According to The Sun, Forest are looking to offload the Nigerian international this month, aiming to remove his £4 million-a-year salary (£77,000 per week) from their wage bill.
Dennis, described as a “talented” player by former manager Claudio Ranieri, is out of favour at Forest and hasn’t featured for the club since May 2023.
Although he has held talks about a return to Watford, the Championship side cannot afford his wages.
Sheffield Wednesday have also expressed interest but face similar financial constraints, leaving Rangers as potential suitors.
The 27-year-old has 53 career goals and joined Forest in August 2022.
However, after falling down the pecking order, he spent the second half of last season on loan at Watford, scoring four goals in 17 Championship appearances.
Dennis still has 18 months left on his Forest contract, but his high wages make a permanent move challenging.
As a result, a loan deal could be on the cards, with Rangers closely monitoring the situation.
If Rangers secure Dennis, his attacking quality could bolster their options in the final third.
