According to Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Bundesliga outfits Eintracht Frankfurt and VfL Wolfsburg are now keen, while there’s also interest from clubs in England and Spain.

While Rangers can’t realistically compete for Silva’s signature due to the fee involved—even with the club’s impending US takeover—his situation may indirectly benefit the Scottish side.

Vaclav Cerny has arguably been Rangers’ most consistent outfield performer this season, but is due back at Wolfsburg when his loan ends.

Rangers are eager to secure him permanently, though the player’s representatives have indicated that the transfer fee could be a sticking point.

However, with Wolfsburg reportedly interested in signing Silva, they may need to generate funds through player sales—Cerny among them. That opens a potential door for Rangers to negotiate a more feasible deal.
