“SHOCKING TWIST! Rangers in SECRET Talks to Snag ‘MIRACLE’ Manager – Romano Drops BOMBSHELL!”

Rangers have reportedly contacted Real Madrid assistant coach Davide Ancelotti about becoming their next permanent manager, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Scottish club has been searching for a new head coach since sacking Philippe Clement in February following a poor run of results in the SPFL that ultimately allowed Celtic to claim their 55th league title.

Former captain Barry Ferguson was installed as interim manager until the end of the season. However, he has struggled to deliver consistent performances from the squad, prompting the club to step up efforts in securing a long-term replacement.

With Carlo Ancelotti expected to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season to take over the Brazil national team, his son and assistant Davide Ancelotti is also set to depart as Xabi Alonso prepares to bring in his own coaching team.

Though Davide has never been a head coach, he is highly regarded in football circles for his tactical acumen and top-tier experience, having worked alongside his father at elite clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Napoli, Everton, and Real Madrid.

The 49ers group, poised to complete their takeover of Rangers this June, has made the 35-year-old a priority target to lead the team into a new era.

Davide Ancelotti has earned praise from notable figures in the game, with Javi Martinez calling him “incredible” and Mason Holgate describing him as “one of the best I’ve ever worked with.”

Despite this interest, he is not the only option on Rangers’ shortlist. Romano revealed to GIVEMESPORT that other candidates have been approached, including former Rangers boss Steven Gerrard.

Additional names reportedly under consideration include Sheffield Wednesday’s Danny Rohl and former Southampton manager Russell Martin, both of whom are believed to be interested in the position at Ibrox.
