While he contributed to just eight league goals, his youth-level record is far more impressive. At PSG’s academy, he registered 27 goals and nine assists in just 35 games during the 2021/22 campaign.
Rangers believe Gassama can blossom into a player of Kent’s calibre. Like Kent, he gets into dangerous positions and has a natural eye for goal.
With Martin’s guidance, there’s optimism that Gassama can refine his creativity and become a consistent attacking force for the team.
