A TalkSPORT pundit believes Leeds United can secure their next Archie Gray by investing just £5 million in a young talent they’ve recently been linked with, according to a fresh report.
Leeds’ momentum was halted this week when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Norwich City, ending their two-game winning streak.
Despite this, the team remains firmly positioned in the play-off places after completing eight matches in the Championship.

Leeds has been struggling with a series of injuries recently, and while the January transfer window is still a bit away, it appears the club is already planning ahead for possible reinforcements.
One of the emerging names Leeds has been linked with is Karl Agnero, a 16-year-old talent from Port Vale.
Agnero has garnered attention from several Championship and Premier League clubs, including Stoke City and Norwich City.
The youngster has been impressive in Port Vale’s under-18s and even made his senior debut in the EFL Trophy against Wolves’ under-21s earlier this season.
In addition to Agnero, Leeds is also reportedly eyeing Kofi Shaw, a 17-year-old currently playing for Bristol Rovers.
Shaw has broken into the first team at the Memorial Stadium and his performances have caught the attention of Leeds as well as Premier League side Aston Villa.
According to one TalkSPORT pundit, Leeds may be able to sign Shaw for just £5 million if they want to secure their next breakout star like Archie Gray.
Carlton Palmer Suggests Kofi Shaw Could Cost Leeds Around £5 Million
Shaw’s impressive displays have drawn interest from Leeds, and TalkSPORT pundit Carlton Palmer suggests the club would need to spend approximately £5 million to bring the young winger to Elland Road.
Palmer believes Shaw has the potential to be Leeds’ next Archie Gray, referring to the 18-year-old who made over 40 appearances for Leeds last season before moving to Tottenham Hotspur.
Speaking to Football League World, Palmer said: “Daniel Farke has shown a willingness to give young players opportunities.
Take Archie Gray, for example—he’s only 18, yet he featured over 40 times for Leeds last season before his move to Spurs.
“Valuing Shaw is tricky because he’s a very talented young player, but still just 17.
Matt Taylor [Bristol Rovers manager] has emphasized the need to manage his development carefully.
Bristol Rovers will likely seek decent money for Shaw, possibly £5 million or £6 million with add-ons.
They might even consider a deal where Shaw is loaned back to them to continue his development.”
Leeds will likely want to secure their next young star, whether for their own push for promotion or to sell at a profit in the future.
At the moment, both Shaw and Agnero seem to be at the top of their wishlist.
