Their final opponents will be confirmed on Thursday afternoon when Tottenham face Liverpool in the second leg of their semi-final. Spurs hold a narrow 1-0 lead from the first leg.
Newcastle will return to Wembley on Sunday, March 16th, with Eddie Howe and his squad determined to rectify their 2023 disappointment and finally lift the trophy.

In his post-match comments, he also made a firm pledge to the club’s supporters, vowing to bring Newcastle back to the big stage.
“[Watching Manchester United lift the trophy] was a pain you have to take and a pain you have to use. We have to absorb everything we’ve experienced,” Howe said in 2023.
“It only fires me up even more to try and be successful and drive the team forward. I certainly won’t rest for a second in my pursuit to improve Newcastle.”
