“Newcastle Set to Smash Transfer Records with Jaw-Dropping £350,000-a-Week Megastar Signing – You Won’t Believe Who!”

Newcastle Reportedly Eyeing Summer Move for Jack Grealish

Newcastle United are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Manchester City winger Jack Grealish during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to former scout Mick Brown.

The England international has emerged as a potential target for the Magpies as they look to strengthen their attacking options under Eddie Howe.

However, Grealish’s substantial wage package — currently £350,000 per week — could pose a stumbling block.

The 29-year-old still has two years left on his contract at the Etihad Stadium and is thought to be reluctant to accept a pay reduction.

Despite limited minutes this season, Grealish is not short of admirers.

Serie A giants AC Milan are also believed to be monitoring his situation and could make a move when the market opens.

Speaking to Football Insider, Brown suggested that Grealish is likely to leave Manchester City this summer, as he no longer features in Pep Guardiola’s plans:

“Newcastle have been thinking about Grealish as a summer option. It’s definitely a move I can see happening.

Eddie Howe is keen to add quality and depth to the squad after restricted transfer activity in recent windows. Grealish would bring experience and technical ability to the team.”

Brown added, “It could be a good fit if Newcastle offer him more consistent playing time.

All signs point to him leaving City — he doesn’t appear to be in Guardiola’s future plans.

A switch to Newcastle would allow him to remain in the Premier League and potentially continue playing Champions League football, but the major obstacle is his salary. It’s unclear if he’d be open to lowering his wages.”

Since joining City from Aston Villa in a £100 million deal in 2021, Grealish has found it difficult to secure a regular starting role.

This season, he has made just 16 starts in all competitions, including only seven in the Premier League.

He was left out of the squad entirely for City’s recent clash with Fulham — his fifth absence in their last six league matches.

Across 32 appearances in all competitions this season, Grealish has registered three goals and five assists. In the Premier League, he scored just once — in a 2-0 win over Leicester City in April.
