Events elsewhere may have grabbed the spotlight on Wednesday night, but the growing crisis at Ibrox cannot be ignored after Rangers F.C. slumped to a fourth consecutive Scottish Premiership defeat.

With several managers failing to handle the pressure at Ibrox in recent years, Gerrard’s proven record could make him the leading candidate if Rangers decide change is needed this summer.
